Meet Dr. Habakus
Shawn R. Habakus, D.M.D.
Dr. Habakus grew up in Berks County, Pennsylvania. He completed his undergraduate studies at Juniata College, Huntingdon, PA, where he obtained a Bachelor of Sciences degree in biology/pre-dentistry in 1990. Dr. Habakus attended the University of Pittsburgh School of Dental Medicine, and graduated with a Doctor of Dental Medicine degree in 1994. Dr. Habakus was one of only three doctors in the country accepted into the St. Joseph's Hospital General Practice Residency program in 1994.
In 1997, Dr. Habakus opened his office of family and general dentistry, with an emphasis on implant dentistry.
Completing advanced courses comprised of all facets of dentistry, allows Dr. Habakus to provide the very best care for his patients. Dr. Habakus far exceeds the minimum number of continuing education hours required to maintain his active dental license. He is certified in CPR.
Dr. Shawn Habakus is a member of the American Dental Association, the Pennsylvania Dental Association, and the Berks County Dental Society.
He has served as the past president of the Pottstown Dental Study Club. During his free time, Dr. Habakus enjoys saltwater fishing and golfing.
Dr. Habakus and his wife, Abby are proud parents of their daughter, Lauren.
